Dear Prospective Pony Clubber & Parents, We are delighted that you are interested in joining Stones River Pony Club. Our members participate in a wide variety of horse activities, including mounted and unmounted meetings; clinics; and rallies. We endeavor to teach safe, effective riding and horse care while having fun and building friendships. We welcome members who have access to a safe pony or horse, and transportation for the horse to mounted club activities. Transportation is the responsibility of the member/parent. Those members without access to their own trailer need to work out a shared ride with another member on their own. We have one parent meeting a month, and mounted meetings at various times throughout the year. Other meeting opportunities may arise during the course of the year. Your dues must be paid in full before you can participate in any pony club activities. Prior to bringing your horse to any mounted meeting, we require a negative Coggins report on your horse. As a volunteer organization, Pony Club needs parental involvement. SRPC's main fundraiser is our Fall Show, which takes place each November on the weekend before Thanksgiving. Member parents are needed to work this event, and any other fundraising opportunities involving SRPC. Both equine experienced adults and adults with no prior horse experience are necessary. If you wish to join or would like more information please feel free to contact our DC, Kathy Corley, at (615) 653.1449, or by e-mail at kcorley@mtemc.com. We all look forward to seeing you at our Pony Club meetings! ~ Stones River Pony Club [Below is a link to the USPC Membership Report Form and Medical Release Form, both of which need to be filled out by prospective members.
